No. Create an account, paste a URL, and the scan runs on our infrastructure. Nothing is added to your site, no script, no widget, and no code changes are required to be scanned.

Any public website you own or are authorised to test. The scanner fetches pages the way a visitor's browser does, so it works on any stack — WordPress, Webflow, Next.js, Rails, a hand-written static site. Sites behind a login or a password wall can't be reached.

A full scan crawls your site and audits every page it finds, up to your plan's page limit — that's what produces your score. A quick check is an instant single-page test of structure, ARIA, alt text and labels. A page scan audits one specific URL with the full browser checks a quick check can't run, which is what you want after fixing a single template.

No — and that's deliberate. AdaChecked never injects anything into your site or rewrites it at runtime. It audits the code your visitors actually receive and reports what it finds. Recent ADA suits have specifically named sites running overlay widgets, so we stay out of that category entirely.

No — and be wary of any tool that promises that. Automated testing catches roughly 30–40% of accessibility barriers; the rest needs human review. What you get is an honest score, issue-level findings, and timestamped records documenting a good-faith effort. It is not legal advice and no tool can guarantee legal outcomes.

Paid plans are billed by card through Stripe, monthly or yearly. You can switch plans, cancel, or download invoices from your account at any time. Cancelling keeps your paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.

Use the Shopify app. It installs in one click, bills through your Shopify invoice, and understands your theme, products and collections. The web app is for everything that isn't a Shopify storefront.
